- Writer/director David S. Marfield makes his feature-film debut with the neo-noir indie thriller DEEPWATER. Lucas Black stars as drifter Nat Banyon, who has just been released from a mental institution and hopes to become a ranchhand in Wyoming. His life takes an unexpected turn when he witnesses a car accident and saves the life of businessman Herman Finch (the always creepy Peter Coyote), who offers Nat a job at his rundown motel in the town of Deepwater. But as Nat learns more about his boss's shady dealings and is seduced by Herman's beautiful young wife, Iris (Mia Maestro), he becomes enmeshed in a classically noirish vortex of sex, money, murder, and double-crossing from which there might be no escape. - Languages: English, Turkish - Subtitle: Turkish
