- The present research has been performed in order to determine the relationship between the attitudes towards mathematics and music of school prospective teachers. With this aim, the attitudes of school prospective teachers towards mathematics and music have been identified and the magnitude of the relationship has been measured. The present study has been performed by using descriptive and correlational methods where Mathematics Attitude Scale and Music Attitude Scale were used. SPSS 17.00 has been used in analysing the data. Standard deviation, Pearson correlation, regression analysis were used in data analysis and a significant relationship was identified between the two variables (R=0.26, R-2=0.07, p<.01). Moreover, the music and mathematics attitudes of the participants were found to be good.
