Ο μακρύς δρόμος της στρατιωτικής ζωής αρχίζει με την κουρά -ένα διαχρονικό συμβολισμό ταπείνωσης, υποταγής και απομόνωσης από την ανθρώπινη ομάδα. Οι Κεκαρμένοι, οι κοντοκουρεμένοι φαντάροι του Νίκου Κάσδαγλη, ζουν την πλήρη θητεία τους χωρίς ελπίδα διαφυγής. Από την ισοπέδωση του στρατώνα στη θλιβερή ατμόσφαιρα των πορνείων, βιώνουν τη μοναξιά της αγέλης. Παγιδευμένοι στους μηχανισμούς της βίας και της καταστροφής της ατομικότητας, είτε συνθλίβονται είτε, οριστικά ακρωτηριασμένοι, αναπαράγουν τον κυνισμό και τη βαναυσότητα διαιωνίζοντας το παιχνίδι της σκληρότητας...
