- Every year around 20 people disappear from cruise ships on the high seas without a trace. Nobody ever came back. Until now... Artin Schwartz, a police psychologist, lost his wife and son five years ago. It happened during a vacation on the cruise ship "Sultan of the Seas" - no one could tell him exactly what happened. Since then, Martin has been a psychological wreck and anesthetizes himself with suicide missions as an undercover investigator. In the middle of a mission, he gets a call from a strange old lady who describes herself as a thriller author: He absolutely has to come on board the "Sultan" because there is evidence of what happened to his family. Martin never wanted to set foot on a ship again - and yet he follows the tip and learns that a girl who disappeared on the "Sultan" weeks ago has reappeared. With his son's teddy bear in his arms...
