Özet: ECCE ROMANI - a Latin reading course - was first published in 1971. Its aims are to bring pupils quickly to the point where they can read Latin with confidence, and also to give them some insight into life in the early Roman Empire. The reading passages are written in a lively style and grammatical information is dealt with efficiently and sensibly. This second edition is the result of a complete revision and now provides better preparation for examinations at 16+. It consists of five course books (each with an accompanying book of teacher's notes), two companion reference books and a Roman Studies Handbook containing bibliographical references.
